The second phass of teaching practice ends here. If i won’t be a teacher this second phase remains as my last class as a teacher.Certainly i will miss these days as a teacher at pattazhy school. As a trainee teacher, i did my job with full dedication. Those two phases of teaching practice in BEd curriculum moulded the teacher in me. It enthusiated and motivated me a lot. Students and teachers in this school helped me so much. The last walk from the corridors made my eyes filled with tears. Nothing is permenents so this moment also needed to pass, for better tomorrow. In this  phase i succeded to finish 4 lessons in 9th A class. They gave a huge gratitude through their feedbacks and gifts. Class winded with giving them blessings….

അമ്പിളി അമ്മാവാ……..🌝

Moon day celebration conducted on monday. The celebration includes various programmes that made the day celebrated colourfully. Celebration started with special assembly that projected various informations and programmes about the moon day. Many peculiarities about the moon and the space voyages explained in assembly. And a beutiful song and wonderful dance about the moon day made the programme colourful. Sri. Manoj sir,( HM incharge) delivered a pleasent sermon about the day speciality…..

Another great seciality of the day is the exhibition about the moon and space by our dear students. Many little scientists and engineers exhibited their talents and creativity. Many rocket manufaturers and operators were there, and they were busy at crafting and lifting their creations. Besides that, there were so many posters and albums about the moon amd related topics and that all were hannged on the roof of the exhibition hall.All the students and people outside the campus had visited the exhibition.

TUESDAY THE LASTDAY

Next day was the final day of teaching practice. We planned to give sweets to students and teachers as a gratitude for their cooperation. Reached at proper time and started the day with prayer. Went to my class and made a convsrsation with my students, gave them some advises and took photoes with them. It was hard to say good bye to them. On the next period distributed the sweets to students and then went to serve mid day meal, served the our last group duty there. Afternoon we gave our gratitudes to teachers especially made a chat with my incharge Binu sir. And recieved some advises from him. He was the first person i needed to give thanks. A man with such a simple personality and humble heart. And atlast went out from the school premises with many good memories and new experiences. O my pattazhy days…. You will always be remembered 🥰

This week witnesses the rush and run of our trainees, all were busy to finish their lessons, as it was the last week that we completely spent at the school. All were busy. We, the students from kulakkada and our co-trainees from mount tabour college prayed for substitution periods. How ever lot of periods got on this week, that made a little bit rush among all..

We always seek holiday inbetween the working days. But now all hates the holiday becouse of the rush. This week also we got a leave due to the muharam. After that there were continuous classes till friday. We expected working day at saturday but cluster meeting of teachers collapsed that wish. Nothing more happent in this week. We got four working days and one of our teacher. Smt. Deepthi came to observe the class of physical science student Arunima.

INNOVATION

As part of the innovative lesson, I took the content form geography text for taking lesson. The plate tectonics was the topic i used to teach with innovation. Used the advancement of the technology for that. I created a animation video of the plate tectons and included my teaching video in it. I used a green screen to record my video and then converted it into apted size, and then collaborated the animation video with my teachings by avoiding the green background.it was a tough task to do that but did my innovative lesson with the help of technology. I shooted the video in my phone and created the video using editing apps such as Inshot, Filmora and so…

This week is ended with many special moments. Monday morning started with observation by our general teacher, Dr. Durga miss and the next major event is the scarcity of mid day meal, we didn’t get meal on wednesday becouse the usual school meal finished before our turn. And the world population day celebrated in the school on next morning assembly. This week ended with somany goegraphy lessons and some exam assistance

OBSERVATI ‘ON’

Visit of our general teacher made the start of this week. Monday morning is always busy and this observation increased the stress. I was totally not prepared for the class. And teacher was on hurry to finish the observation before the noon. Didn’t get more time to adjust the periods but unexpectedly i got a substitution period in my class and that period adjusted for the observation. The topic was about the Formation of the ancient greece. Gave a good lesson to students about the greece and their citystates. Conducted the lesson through ICT assistance. Many videos from the movie Troy2004  came to assist me. The movie clips transferred the idea of ancient greek people to the students and i conveyed my messages through the ideas from videos.The class was totally good and got some reflection about the class from teacher

One more week at pattazhy school…. This week witnessed the remembarance of greak Vaikom Muhammad Basheer. “Basheer Dinam”celebrated at school and this week we had exam duty of sslc students and then an educational strike ruined one working day on this week.This week ended well. Few more days left at pattazhy.

Basheer dinam celebrated at our school. People gathered for the special assembly in the morning and the celebration started with prayer. Many programmes conducted by our students. They set a skit from the famous work “Pathummayude aadu” by Basheer

The skit was amazing and then many students conveyed their reading experiences about the works of basheer and also presented narratives about famous works. Then two manuscripts published by school headmaster in charge Sri. Manoj sir.

Whole programme were conducted by malayalam department of the school. Special thanks to the teachers and the talented kids for this beautiful programmes.

STRIKE ‘THURS’DAY

Thursday ruined by stirke by leading Student political party in kerala, The reason was necessary. Tge strike was against the corrupted Exams conducted by National agencies. Let’s hope for justice to the students who got stuck in this corrupted exam….

SAY NO……..

A flashmob conducted on friday evening at school auditorium. I didt get time to watch it, becouse i need to go to alappy after the school time. The programme was based on anti drug messages

This week is dedicated to preventing some threats from the society. Anti drug day is celebrated in our school to abandon the evil effect of the drug abuse. The government, school authorities and some NGOs took initiatives to irradicate the drug use of students. The students are the major target of the drug mafia. On my openion, the government needs to take more initiatives to irradicate this threat.The exams are the next major event on this week. We got the duty of invigilating ths exams of sslc students.

ON EXAM DUTY….

From monday morning, we got special duty. We are now invigilators for examinations of sslc students. Exams starts at 9° am and we are needed to present before the time. From monday we started our duty.Students were little bit nervous about the PTA meeting here aftee the exams. But they managed to perform thiee best till this day. Exams comtinues….

Thsi week was a rainy one and that was a blessing becouse we were free from the PT assistancd duty.

STRIKE ON……

The corrent problem in educational field is needed to end with suitable solution. Ut is hard to got no placement in higher studies even if full A+mark awarded. This should not be tolerated. So this kind of strike is good when it find the solution for the problem. Strike day went well. But the teachers must present in the school🥲so went to school and done our works while sitting there….

ANTI DRUG DAY…..

Programmes started with a awareness rally by students. Students sarrounded the school premises with banners and placards to procalim their attitude against the drug use. The rally sarrounded the school premises and ended infront of the auditorium. And then the rally led by higher secondary students came into action they also led rally through the school premises.

School witnessed the programme hosted by ashraya charitable society. They came to school for giving an awareness to the school students. They started with a dance performance and a small awareness class and a intresting drama…. The programme was good and students enjoyed it a lot…

Thursday and friday went fast, without any special work. One more week ended. Few days only left at pattazhy. Needs to enjoy those days…. Will see on next week

This week started from tuesday. All came after the perunnal vibe of monday. This week we had many specialities. June 19 “The Reading day “is on this week and we had the observation of our optional teacher in this week… This day i had covered two major topics in my class, buddhism and jainism discussed in the class and this week ended without any problems.

Farewell dear Unnikkuttan sir….

Our dear HeadMaster, Sri. Unnikkuttan sir got a promotion transfer as AEO. We are glad and littlebit disappointed about dis transfer from here. He was totally a coordinator and back bone of our school. He gave so much guidance to us. Thank you sir for all you done for us

India celebrates National Reading Day on June 19th in honour of Puthuvayil Narayana Panicker, a champion for literacy and libraries. Nicknamed the “Father of India’s Library Movement,” Panicker believed that education and books were the keys to progress.We had so many programmes in our school, to celebrate the day. At first the programmes started with assembly and there the pupil got messages from noble teachers i our school and then the students published two works, created by them. One was some writings and other was pictures drawn by students

After that few students got award for their notable contribution in the previous years fir an exam

Then various programmes conducted as part of the day celebration. Many songs, speeches, narrations and beautiful dances were few among the programme. The programmes got lag due to rain occured during assembly.

OBSERVING THE BUDDHA….

19.6.2024 Today we got the visit of our optional teacher Smt. Bini,to our school.She visited as part of the first phase observation.She visited my class on 9th A. Buddhism and the key ideas of buddha against the ancient vedic period was discussed in the class. Used ICT for conducting the lessons.Gave activities and conducted the lessons with in my capacity.

2024 Theme: Yoga for self and society

School is a social institution where the students starts to minkle with the social intractions.So each and every days of the society should celebrated here. Our pattazhy school celebrated world yoga day on behalf of the yoga day. Spc students got special y9ga training and they got special class about the awareness about the yoga day.

The second week started from Alappuzha. Monday Mornings are always a busy one. This week also moved to pattazhy early in the morning reached school on time this week i need to finish the first chapter… So the stone age man i discussed in the class room will find his iron tools this week😇

THIS IS HARDER THAN PSC

We witnessed the selection exam for the SPC. I think it is totally a hard one to the students of eighth standard. I realized it while just moving to the question papper. The selection criteria will based on the exam result and the pass mark is fourty out of hundred. Let’s wait how many of them will pass. Our duty is to conduct the exam for that we arranged the hall and sitting order of the students and conducted the exams under the supervision of civil police officer and our teachers. Sub inspector visited the school during the exam time as part of an inspection….

“BE ALERT” -THE SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

A special assembly conducted on thursday morning. The assembly summoned for giving awareness to students about the prevention of Rabbies. Junior health inspector of pattazhy health centre was the special guest, who conducted the session about the rabbies. She gave instructions to students but the class was a boaring one and students were lacked to gave attention to her words. Hiw ever she gave many details through her sermon. The programme coordinated by health ministry and education ministry togetherly in all schools in kerala.

FROM STONE TO VEDIC PERIOD

This week is dedicated to the ancient people. The first chapter about the anicient people covered this weeek. Ended the week by finishing one chapter and introducing the second chapter.

The second phase teaching practice started from 6th June 2024.I was so much excited to return to the school teaching days. Got warm welcome from the gate and corridors itself. Students with pure love and respect accompanied me for enquiring several things. Met senior teacher and our seats were occupied by newly arrived textbooks so we had to go to another places. They arranged a room for us and we made it clean, the first and immidiate task gathered from pattazhi was the cleaning ceremony. However managed to comduct the work well. We removed the dust and the residing animals of that room including some pigions. And arranged our seats for the remaining 30 working days…

The firstday ended without any duties of taking lessons. Gathered time table and arranged the seats, served the meals to students etc… Was the duties for the first day….

Day with prehistoric people

The second day—-started the lessons according to the lesson plan. The prehistoric period was the first topic. The stone ange and the paleolithic people was the topics i needed to cover that day. Class was on the 5th period and it ended well… Hope the students got the idea about the class.

“THE MEN IN WATCH”

The best and happiest thing in the school is to accompany students for PT. They always come to our room to beg our assistance, becouse the PT sir doesn’t care about the games instead he always give theory class to them. So our visit is the only time they gets to play in the groud, all we needed is to watch them by sitting in a corner of the ground. This work will continue till the end of our teaching practice days, and we are all enjoying this till now.usually the foot ball dominates than other games. One or two batches play together like a mass running after the ball🤣but that is another kind of football the school students used to play…. Pattazhi day keeps going high😇🔥

Totally disappointed about the community camp. The days scheduled from 29-1-2024 to following seven days. The days selected was the first and major problem that came as a villain. The first day of the camp was the wedding day of my elder brother. So i was really frustrated and disappointed about the decision of the authorities… The talks and discussions came to an end without any change in the days… So i got a permission to join the camp only at night on the beginning day…How ever the rest of the days was good.whole programmes and activities created with awesome spirit and coordination.Some clashes and scratches arose during these days. But the entire camp days ended with some good memories.

സിമ്പിൾ make up മതിയെന്നാ കുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞെ……

Preparation was the first step needed to be accomplished. The preparation and makeup for camp started earlier before the camp days.First and immidaite duty was given to me sveral days before the camp. I worked as an electritian to solve the lighting issues. Connected several lights at different parts of the college and then the remaining works started.Cleaning of surroundings and the creation of various committies came to an end with the cooperation and coordination of whole students. The decoration committe then started their work, purchasing committie vanished for making things to buy. “The better beginning is half done”… Ys we did it better😇Let’s fly to next seven day blast

INAGURATION CEREMONY

As i knew the inaguration ceremony and the followed activites done according to the shedulded tume span… The rally conducted for proclaiming about the camp was the initial programme of the nammalidam… The kulakkada and its people witnessed the road rally. The speciality of day one was the drama “ഉടൻ പ്രതികരിക്കൂ ഉറക്കെ പ്രതികരിക്കൂ”conducted by Jenamaithri kerala police team…..

So after the ceremonies at my home i reached to college before 10:00pm. The kulakkada people was totally busy there.. I witnessed the people with different jobs, some were on refectory for dinning, and the rest were on corridors and porticos for loose talks and rest.So a special day ended here at kulakkada 🥲

From the next day water scarcity came as a villain to us. I became a plumber there. Did several jobs to seal the broken pipes and to take new pipe connection from school to end the scarcity of water…. That was totally a hard work to finish but got assistance from mahesh and faizal to clear the work…

സന്ധ്യയായി പ്രഭാതമായി രണ്ടാം ദിവസം……

The day started with a black coffe and then the yoga practice by our GKP sir. He is verry punctual so that he came early in the morning with all necessary equipments and fecilitiea for the class… The yoga session gave a relaxation to all students however I don’t believe in this asanas, becouse a simple boady streching will give the same result of many asanas. Class ended with breakfast session. Then the survey was conducted. Many students went to collect survey to different places. They reached on time before lunch. Afternoon session was conducted by fire and saftey team they took lessons about first aid for several problems. Soon after the class the recreation games started. First day cultural programmes conducted by social science optional students and we did it well. The supper served after the review session. Day ended…..

മൂന്നാം നാൾ യാത്ര പോയപ്പോൾ…..

Assembly Attention…. GK sir started the day programmes with the command. The morning, healthy and brisk walk conducted for a healthy start. Today was a cleaning day we moved to our neighbouring place for cleaning. We cleared the waste and poaches from the land we choosed. It was a hard and group work that we did together and vanished the waste from the road side. Teachers accompnied us for the work and they gave us enthusiasm to work by providing snaks and soft drinks in between the work. After the work reached college and had our lunch. The afternoon class gave good sleep. The class was based on the life style disease, conducted by Sri. Dileep Khan. The reacreational games ended well… The evening was a colourful one. We got special class about the folk songs, and that was such an amazing class. Sri. George Jacob sir.. Amazed us with his folk songs 🔥review and dinner supplied after the class…ok by for today.. Fourth one…

Day started well. Got some physical exercise in the morning today we witnessed a stunning flashmob performance by our students at our school premises. Whole school students witnessed the performance.our students killed the floor with their steps. The theme was an awarenesss about ill effects of drug. The next programme was  a class by Dr. Lekshmi, about the yoga and its benefits. After lunch another class given to us about stress reduction. Both classes gave new awakenings to us. And the followed activites done according to the order. Game. Bath. Cultural programme.Review. Dinner. And sleep……

5th Day -The Visit

Today we got inspection from state coordinator. He visted the college and gave instructions to us. The day was speciak for the NSS workers of kucte kulakkada. And then today we got two sessions about different topics. First was totally an investment, The mushroom farming, the class was conducted by Mr. Pradeep from kripa mushroom farm kulakkada. And the second one was conducted by Mr. Abhilash kumar about cyber attack and adolescence crime. And thdn the usual programmes continued at its order….

ANGEL’S MEET DAY

We visited Mahathma jenasevana kendram, Adoor. It is a shelter home to several poor and abandoned people. It gave us more happiness to spent time with the inmates. We gave a small contribution to the inmates as a small kind of money and several cloths collected by us. Then we moved back to college and we got delicious biriyani there. And the day ended with usual procedures. There were no classes today that was also made this day special… This was last night stay at college as part of the camp.. Good night

The 7th Day

Camp ended officially today. Got wake up in the morning. Today we needed to go back to our homes. We got a overall review about the camp from all students. After the reviewing sessions all people went to gather their things for packing and all of us scattered to our homes….. End of some good days…..

The camp days was good and i had lot of work in the camp premises. I worked as an electrician, a plumber and also as a chef. But enjoyed those sevendays very well.Seven days of camp was an unforgottable experience to me. It provide many oppertunities to organize and coordinate various programmes. It helped to know people more deeply. Besides the happines several sorrows and sufferings came to camp. Water scarcity was a major threat,how ever managed to solve the problem with coordination and cooperation. On the base of academic knowledge, the camp provided so much information
