Yah… The festive season begins at everywere.. We are also thrilled about the ten days relief, called ‘the vacation ‘ from the school… Ofcourse it is an escape from all the responsibilities for a shor span of time…

Wait xmas🛑we are on e’XaMS’

The exams ruins the children with out any mercy. Tight shedule and exam hours are rosting the students now a days… This week also this villian captured the schooling happiness of the students. But they are on thrill of the school ending cermony before veccation. Many of them invited us to cooperate with them for their christmas functions.

WEEK REPORT:-(SIMPLY SITTING)

This week also didn’t hesitated us. Becouse we were on the duty of spreading loose talks on the staffroom. However we were united for that purpose for unique mindset🤣Both the ladies and myself engaged on that bussiness whole week. But sometimes we got the exam duties on behalf of the teabreak for some teachers. And Sajeer Sir needed our aid at every exams. We were happy to gave our service to pattazhi students. What a happy and peace was there during the exam days.Monday and Tuesday flew like that

‘THIS IS WRONG’

Kucte kulakkada and their rules disturbed our minds. We were out of the chritstmas celebration conducted by our college. Totally disappointed faces among the seniors.This ruthless action of the college management authorities was only towards us, that made us to enquire about the issue and to register our protest against that. However the teachers admitted that it was their fault not to consider the senior students. We managed to protest and create trolls against this, but these actions will not bringback any change in the programmes or the in the matter of our inclusion… #totally_disappointed_KUCTE_KULAKKADA🥲

As the exam fire ended the pupil regained their strength for creating a blsting christmas programme…. Enitre school was on the busy for planning and preparing thier christmas events. We were also a part of the celebration of Pattazhi school.

One more week passed from school teaching practice days. So much enthusiastic days…. The new portions from geography is the target i needed to achieve from the monday. So i started the journey of this week focising on the target. Two classes and one chapter is the battle ground and knights before me, yah! I need to complete this battle to conquer the 8th empire😇. On the next day we got leave becouse of the cluster meeting of teachers.

ALERT… ⚠️⚠️

Soon after the hangover of the leave, I got a phone call from our optional teacher about the visit to school. From that time i was busy to prepare things for taking lessons. As informed teacher came to school on time. Two periods were scheduled for observation. First was mine and the rest, teacher observed Devarenjini’s class. Teacher analysed tye class and put her remarks about the class on reflective journal. With these visit the observation from optional teacher ended.The topic i used to teach is from the chapter ‘the blanket on the earth’

When Pattazhi flourished with kadhakal

The thursday morning started with usual Assembly”The Hindi Assembly”. It was a special Assembly to congratulate the winners of District kalolsavam. PTA president and few prominent people were invited to the Assembly to congratulate the winners who got selection to the State kalolsavam. ‘Jagannadhan’-A talented guy got appreciation for his achievement in kadhakali sangeetham.Kalamandalam Biju, a prominent kadhakali aasaan gave special appreciation to him during the event.

After that Headmaster concluded the event with few words. Before concluding the event sir said that, “As like we congratulating devanandan, his parents also bless him from heaven”That made me sad. Assembly ended with wishing him success.

MAD DOG CREATED TROUBLE @PATTAZHY

Soon after the Assembly the announcement from office came noticing about a maddog that creating fear at our school premises. That dog made anxiety and fear among all we made precautions for stopping the dog but fortunatly the dog went another way and we restarted the schooling as usual after that

This week ended on thursday becouse i was leave on friday.

As the tilte stated the things i had discuss this week was about the ancient rulers and the vitamin deficiency as part of the health education. The sunday itself i got the notification from gopalakrishnapillai sir to take the health education lesson on Monday itself Deva, priya and myself did it monday and the rest of us got the chance wednesday on behalf of GP sir. The vitamin class ended pretty well, my Kiddos got some knowledge about the vitamins from my words. Hope they will include vitaminous foods in their diet. Gave home work to them and the result of the homework was amazing they took it with a great pleasure and gave wonderful results. Keerthana a student of 8A gave a brilliant work as like an assignment work. However GP sir also liked it verrymuch… Imoressive work thanks to kiddos of 8A especially to Keerthana

On monday the rest of lessons i discussed about the socio economic life of mauryans and the rise of cities and new ideas on the gangetic plains. The mext day there were only one period to conduct class according to lesson plan and then got lots of substitution periods to encourage students.

HEALTH OBSERVATION

The day was special to me becouse it was my birthday then.Wednesday GKP sir came to school to observe our health education classes some people took lessons. Sir corrected our lessonplans and signed it one day was encouraged with physical education. As i finished the lessons i went for my usual classes on that day. I was busy with something that led to the foundation of yoga practices, the buddhism was the topic i discussed on that day on 8th A class.I got another b’day partner from pattazhi school too. One of my student is celebrating the b’day with me on November 22,Now i have birthday partners everywere i worked😇The day ended with the announcement of leave on school due to the clustermeeting. As like students we were also glad when we heared that🥰….

Unfortunatly the cluster meeting reshedulded and the announcement for that came on that night, yah i know tomorrow i will face so many disappointed faces🥲The thursday went verry fast as like this year moving, nothing special happened excepting the badminton playtime with kiddos, small people and damaged bat with cracked shuttle gutts, shown the pathetic situation of our physical education department. Hope the government will take necessory actions to resolve it. Small kids are always eagerly welcomes us to accompany them on PTE period.

FRIDAY, The last day of the week is always a happiest day. As like all friday morning we were busy to pack things inorder to go to home. After reaching the school went for my usual classes there after i got 9th standard to teach some geography portions There i finished the chapter ocean and man by taking the last topic from that chapter however it will be a satisfaction to Binu sir. Friday ended in college encouraged some moments with my own fruends. Said bye to them and moved to Alappuzha. See you later guys😇

This week we had lot of activities, Especially the Yoga classes. From this week i got chance to teach in Eighth standard. The school and students were busy with the rush and practices of subdistrict kalolsavam. So due to the practice and preparations lot of people were absent in class room. This week we were under the pressure of the observation of general paper teachers and physical education sir. As informed, Smt. Smitha miss came to observe us on Monday and she was accompanied by hindi optional teacher smt. Jeena mis and on next day our GKP Sir came in our school to teach and observe the yoga session for students. There he intriduced us a former student in kucte kulakkada, who are working as a teacher in pattazhi school. After the yoga day, smitha miss came again to observe the remaining classes…. The week end well with lots of experiences. Most among them was the kalolsavam and its spirit and the worst thing is the boady pain caused after the yoga session.. Lot more to come… 😇

KEEP CALM, DO YOGA

As we know yoga is good for health(i’m not believing it) the school curriculum injected some yoga lessons to their syllabus. As a BEd trainee we are also needed to conduct classes on this field too..So our Physical education sir, Sri. GopalakrishnaPillai came to observe the yoga lessons and give instructions to conduct yoga lessons

The yoga day was a task day.. Did it with out much intrest in yoga practices. How ever BEd is teaching things that i never practiced in my life🥲….. The Makarasana and paschimottasana was the topics i covered in that period, for 8th A students. The most biggest Sooryanamaskar is still waiting for its turn to come, as it was my second topic to conduct yoga lessons.

“GENERAL” OBSERVED

Our general education teacher came monday to observe our classes but on that day i didn’t got the chance to conduct class. Then teacher came wednesday to observe my class i was in 8th A to teach about the lesson magadha to thaneswar. That day i started it so the class was based on some stories and events that led to the formation of the maurya empire under king Chandragupta Maurya. Teacher came to my class during the middle of the class, thus made me to prepare well before the bisit of teacher. I made the ict connected to my class got a good observation result from teacher. And then during the next period i took the chapter towards the gangetic plains…..

The worse climate season started. The sun and rain associated us whole week. Morning to noon, The sun killed with his burning and afternoon the rain and thunder defeated us🥲another week passed from the school days,Now I’m enjoying these school teaching days. One day strike announced by KSU made a small break between the days in this week. The strike was on tuesday there i got the chance to play cricket with our respected teachers.

All of us were busy on this week becouse of the fear and terror caused by the observation of our college teachers. The Physical science and natural science people were free from that, becouse they already got the observation of their optional teachers. We the others were expecting the anytime visit of our teachers

REST IS CRICKET

We reached the school on the morning of the strike day. As there were no classes we opted ti write lesson plans, while writing i got invitation from our male teachers to participate in the cricket match. I accepted and we started the match. There were only 5 including me. We got a player from higher secondary school also. That made me happy all the teachers are verry much intrested in cricket.. Hoping that this will happen again… Big thanks to KSU 🤣

OBSERVATION

The next was the day selected for observation by our optional teacher.The day started with the phone call of our optional teacher, informing about her visit,So we had a task before us to arrange the timetable for observation. As announced, our teacher came on the morning itself she visited Devarenjini’s class first. On the second period she visited mine. Little bit tensed but however i managed to did it well. Big thanks to 9A they cooperated well and responded to all my questions. Class ended before the bell and after reporting the reflection on the dairy teacher went back to college and we also moved to our next work.. One of the major task ended.. Lot more is waiting….

RAIN ruins the evenungs usually so leaving the school after the class became a task.The lessons on 9th standard going pretty well. And the amount of substitution periods became massive day by day,

FRY-DRY DAY

The last day of the week and also the last day at 9th C, there i finished two chapters till this day see you in next week😇

We came back after exams on 1-11-2023.Wednesday morning we reached the school, the colourful school premises welcomed us. The most precious thing is that the students still remembers us. 🥰Let’s move to the second phase of teaching practice…..

We were curious and littlebit tensed about the observation visit of our teachers. As per the lesson plan the classes began to attain its momentum. I got so many lessons to teach most of them were based on geography portions. Day by day the number of substitution classes began to increase. There were only three days in this week to take lessons. After reaching the school i collected the portions for teaching from Binu sir. The previous week was a history week now i entered into a geographical world.. Let’s see how it will end

THREE DAYS SUMMARY AFTER REJOINING

The first day i managed to take lessons that i needed to finish. The topics were from the chapter india the land of synthesis. And after finishing that i made new step on to Geographical topics. Igot two different chapters to teach on two classes of 9th std. The ocean and man in 9th A and By the hands of Nature from 9th C.

Those three days went well took lessons according to lesson plans. There was no special programmes or events on this week so the school days on this week ended well without any kind of problems.

Got a small break from busy teaching days for a kind of worst days “EXAM DAYS” 🥲The second semester exam scheduling from 18-10-2023 gave us a freedom from chalks and chart, we all closed lesson plan record book for open the second sem notebooks

The second week of the teaching practice days were a period of rush and tieredness. We all were busy with taking atleast a chapter completely. I got three classes 9A, 9D and 9C to complete a lesson, “INDIA THE LAND OF SYNTHESIS” from the history text book…. Started the class from monday itself, prepared the lesson plan and conducted classes according to the lesson plan..As my lesson plan wasn’t comolete i needed to go to college to gather the signature of our optional teacher in the lesson plan…

I completed the chapter by dividing the topics equally for each days.i knew that the topics were though and the unfamiliar terms from the medivial religious portions will confuse the students i made the repetition of the terms in the through out all the day.. Hope that the students understood the topics.. Two lessons were taken with the help of PPT presentations that made me to conduct class interestingly ang easily, and also the pictures in the ppt made tge students to femiliar with great personalities like Amir khusru…..

HEALTH IS WEALTH

As part of the physical education work we all needed to take lessons on the topic health education, I got two topics to take lectures the first one was the” ILL EFFECTS OF SMOKING” Another one is “VITAMIN DEFICIENCY “Besides these two we must needed to practice a yoga movement in the class As noticed earlier our Physical education sir Sr. Gopalakrishnapillai sir visited us for observing our classes on health education… I didn’t got chance to take class infront of sir… But how ever i finished the class on the next day on this topic… I think this class may cause anyone’s change of attitudes towards cigarette

The task of completing the lesson made tension.. But finally at the end of friday evening i made the completion of INDIA THE LAND OF SYNTHESIS.. So my dear 9th buddies its time for a break from you to the ultimate villian…. EXAM….

The afternoon intervel of the school was really a engaged one.. The team work of our buddies comes together for serving food on all days. The moment gave much happy.. Yah the standing Q of the children remembered me, the days of my primary school.. The another major task in pattazhi school is to bring the students to PTE. I think the sports sir is a lazy man who always take excuses from this work.. So now a days it came to our head to do that job.. Yah! I am a referee now, who controls the rivalry match between 9th class and 8th standard, The enthusiasm of a world cup referee 🤣🤣… Finally let’s moving from pattazhi after two small weeks of teaching life… This gave more oppertunities, responsibilitues, activities and most importently the experience in teaching… Let’s wait for NoVeMbEr 1 to rejoin to this procedure….. GOVT HSS PATTAZHY

GOVERNMENT HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL PATTAZHI was established in 1950 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in Rural area. It is located in KULAKKADA block of KOLLAM district of Kerala. The school consists of Grades from 5 to 12. The school is Co-educational and it doesn’t have an attached pre-primary section. The school is Not Applicable in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. Malayalam is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in April.
The school has Government building. It has got 23 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a separate room for Head master/Teacher. The school has Partial boundary wall. The school has have electric connection. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Well and it is functional. The school has 8 boys toilet and it is functional. and 7 girls toilet and it is functional. The school has a playground. The school has a library and has 9910 books in its library. The school does not need ramp for disabled children to access classrooms. The school has 3 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The school is not having a computer aided learning lab. The school is Provided and Prepared in School Premises providing mid-day meal.

The day started with assembly

As planned before i needed to go for 9th standard to teach Social science portions The preplanned Lesson plans and teaching aids was with me…i got 5 periods to take class for the first day. Yeh its an introductory day.. Made it fruitful to the students of 10th std at morning session i hope any one of them started thinking about the future right then after the talk….. “Little ones are waiting for lunch” so the next task was to serve it.. Did it well and ate it together with our eight warriors… Meet up with 9th people started afternoon.. In the first class we discussed the Last portion of a chapter that i prepared for teaching.. 9D little bit curious and hyper active students OMG lot more to come… How will i Manage these upcoming 40 days of WAR at PATTAZHI

The second day is dedicated to cleaning of the campus as part of the Gandhijayanthi. So the students started to work from the morning itself, so we were unable to take lessons. But happened to assist the students of three classes for the PTE recreational activities. I conducted a friendly foot ball match among the students of std 8th and 7th. The match ended with the penalty and the winners scored 2-1.the after noon works started with serving of mid time meals. The Friday is a dry day in that campus so they usually works outside in afternoon so there were no classes afternoon. The first week of the Mission ended here with The Last bell of the SCHOOL….. Let see on next week
